The fewer followers you have, the less likely you are to get more followers.
However the MORE followers you have, the more likely you are to be swamped by endless pictures of everyone’s ‘favourite’ artist, clothing style, makeup brand, hipster photographs, cats, dogs, knitted wear, pieces of disjointed text intended to jerk some kind of emotion out of you (mostly nausea in my case) and so on…

I think i prefer my humble 41 followers to however many thousand.
